Trucks

TRUCKS

Trucks are the metal part of a roller skate that connect the wheels to the boot. They feature kingpins that are set at a certain angle to influence the turn and pivot of the wheels, helping the skater to steer and balance while skating. There are two trucks per skate (four total for a pair of skates), one in the front and one in the back. Each truck holds two wheels and includes axles and cushions in addition to the kingpin. Trucks are what gives the skate its stability and smoothness of roll!
