ARTISTIC ROLLER SKATES

Artistic Skates are quad skates that have a heel and a stiffer, high-cut boot. The heel allows the skater to have more control on the ball of the foot. It also helps to keep an upright posture for spins and turns. This type of boot also provides better ankle support for jumps and to assist in translating small ankle movements to the wheels.

Artistic Roller Skating is a competitive sport, very similar in terms to Figure Skating, but on four wheels instead of a blade. This type of skating focuses on technique, artistry, and choreographed routines.
