QUAD PLATES

Plates are the base component of a quad roller skate that connects the boot to the wheels. They provide stability and structure to the skate. Plates can be made from different materials, such as aluminum or nylon. The material of the plate can determine weight as well as rigidity that makes the plate less prone to breakage over time. The plate also contains kingpins at specific angles that can affect the responsiveness for turns and other movements.
