Toe Stops
TOE STOPS
Toe Stops are the rubber pieces at the toe of the skate that assist the skater in slowing, stopping, and pushing off when skating. They also are used for control in turns or abrupt stopping. Toe stops can be adjustable or fixed, depending on the type of skate.
They will need to be replaced when you notice they have become worn down, uneven, or lose their grip. A good rule to follow by is to replace when they have become about half their original size.
